Bed Head Tigi Urban Antidotes Re-Energize Shampoo- reviewed and rejected
18.07.10
Out of pure and simple curiosity, I thought I would try out a “trendy” shampoo that caters to a younger generation. Well, curiosity killed the cat, and I detest to be the bearer of bad news, but Bed Head Tigi Urban Antiodotes Re-Energize Shampoo is basically just marketing in a bottle (as if you doubtlessly weren’t thinking the same thing).
Bed Head is mostly known for their hair products, marketed toward a younger generation (in certainty, the web site is chockfull of teen models on runways, with skateboards, all with fierce “I’m angry!” expressions). I’m not safe when they launched their shampoo line but Bed Head Tigi Urban Antidotes Re-Energize Shampoo is one of their standards.
The problem with this shampoo is that it’s mask-like-up full of crap. Seriously. Stuff that will irritate eyes (like sodium laureth sulfate and sodium chloride ). Non-structural fragrances (like parfum and butylphenyl methylpropional ). Even when I tried it, it just felt wrong as I poured a nickel-extent dollop in my hands. Weird consistency, gloopy, like warm icing or really milky cement. It felt waxy on my head. It was all just wrong. As I’ve said in frequently in past posts, if you can’t voice the name of the ingredient or if it’s a super long word, it’s probably not the best thing for you. The ingredients laundry list here is basically a different language.
